Qualification: i. Full Time BE/ B Tech/ B Sc (Engineering) (4 years duration)/5 years Integrated ME/M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (minimum 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinance of the respective university/institution) in any of the engineering disciplines mentioned in the table below from a recognized University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC.

Fee: A Non-Refundable application fee of ` 500/- is chargeable only from Male applicants belonging to General and OBC categories. Women candidates, candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Persons with Disabilities, GorakhapurDependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) are exempted from payment of application fee.

Training & Placement: 

(i). The selected candidates will be required to undergo one-year orientation training in any of the Nuclear Training Centres of NPCIL located at Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, MAPS (Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu), Kaiga Site (Karnataka) and Kudankulam (Tamil Nadu).

(ii). Those trainees who complete one-year orientation training successfully, will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and posted at one of the Units/Sites/Offices of NPCIL located at different parts of the country. The present locations include following:

(iii). Units/Sites at Tarapur (Maharashtra), Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), MAPS (Kalpakkam Tamil Nadu), Narora (Uttar Pradesh), Kakrapar (Gujarat), Kaiga Site (Karnataka), Kudankulam (TamiGorakhpurHaryana), other upcoming projects, other offices located at various places all over India and Headquarters at Mumbai (Maharashtra).

Bond: Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement and a personal Indemnity Bond for Rs. 4, 30,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Thirty Thousand Only) to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training.

Selection Process: The selection process will comprise of the following: i) Personal Interview, ii) Verification of Original Documents at the time of interview, iii) Language for Personal Interview, iv) Final Selection, v) Medical Fitness vi) Offer of Appointment
