About TSGENCO
Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited is a division of Telangana State Electricity Board. It is responsible for power generation in the state of Telangana. It has ceased to do power trading and has retained with powers of controlling system operations of power generation after formation of Telangana state. Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited has been incorporated under companies Act, 2013, on 19 May 2014 and commenced its operations from 2 June 2014.

Direct Recruitment of “Assistant Engineers” [Electrical; Mechanical; Electronics; and civil]
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 187 Posts
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) – 77 Posts
- Assistant Engineer (Electronics) – 25 Posts
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 50 Posts
Qualification Required
Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Controls Engineering/ Electronics & Control Engineering/ Instrumentation & Power/ Power Electronics/ Civil Engineering of a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Electrical; Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Age Limit
- Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44 years. The age will be reckoned as 01-07-2023.
- Note: The upper age limit is raised up to 10 years [i.e.] from 34 years to 44 years as per the G.O.Ms.No.42, GAD(Ser. A), dtd.19-03-2022, as adopted by the TSGENCO vide TGOO.No.43/CGM(Adm)/2022, dtd.24-06-2022.
Fee
- Application processing Fee: Each applicant must pay an amount of Rs.400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only) towards the ONLINE application processing fee.
- Examination Fee: The applicants have to pay an amount of Rs.300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) towards the “Examination Fee”. However, the applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS and Physically Challenged categories are exempted from payment of “Examination Fee”. Mere exemption from payment of examination fees does not confer any right on the candidate to treat them as belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS and PH Categories.
- Note: The applicants belonging to other States are not exempted from payment of
“Examination Fee”.
