Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Depending on the project, the candidate will be involved in the engineering work of proposal, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning scopes including:
Management of all engineering activities for Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction phases of assigned projects
Lead global civil, structural, and architectural engineering discipline efforts in the preparation of deliverables in collaboration with Engineering team and external parties to create procurement, fabrication, construction packages including engineering analysis, calculations, and specifications
Perform and manage engineering analysis and calculations for civil and structural designs for industrial structures (base plates, foundation anchor bolts, columns, stacks, ducts, heat exchanger and vessel support design, modular construction considering dead, wind, live, seismic loads
Facilitate team meetings and decisions providing technical direction to project team members
- Recommend standards and guidelines and implement improvements to assigned work processes
- Serve as a consultant providing technical information and engineering recommendations
- Support Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction by coordinating resolution of technical issues
- Ensure alignment of engineering activities with the overall project schedule and project plans
