Position: Safety Engineer

Job description

• Make sure that all fire and life safety equipment are where they are meant to be at all times and all fire protection systems like smoke detectors, fire alarms, sprinklers, etc. are all installed correctly and also functional at all times.
• Plan and deliver relevant life safety workshops/ training sessions for the security, housekeeping staff & other employees. Conduct effective mock fire emergency drills and rehearsals.
• Ensure that emergency procedures are put in place and made as clear as possible so the occupants know how to go about things in an emergency.
  Organize and conduct fire drills/simulations to check the preparedness of fire prevention/protection systems.
• Work closely with external fire service departments to build a strong and feasible emergency response plan.

Required Candidate profile

Education & Qualification – BE/B.Tech with Diploma Course in Fire & Safety.
