Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall Tendering, Contracts, Procurement, Administration, knowledge of Item Rate Contracts and Cost-Plus Contracts, knowledge of Conditions of Contract and Indian Contract Act and Arbitration Act.
A) Vendor Empanelment, Vendor Development, and Relationships
- Identifying and empaneling new vendors through various modes like references, by attending conferences and seminars, from online market places, etc.
- To build rapport and relationships with all key and critical vendors and contractor
- To ensure that vendor issues are addressed appropriately to ensure mutually rewarding relationships.
B) Pre-tender Work & Contract Award Process
- Identify and shortlist vendors and get empanelment done for new vendors.
- Conducting site visits for Pre-Qualification of vendors for respective tenders
- Maintain checklists for pre-requisites for tender, tender opening forms, PQ checklists, etc.
- Initiate tendering process after coordinating for all required information and record all communications.
C) Post-Award Contract Administration
- Preparation of various reports for tracking of Savings on Budget and Turn Around Time for various packages.
- Prepare & issue the change orders/amendments as per the approval processes and update the same in MIS.
- Follow up with Project Execution Team and vendors for performance & timely completion.
- Track MIS for all documents (Tenders, Work Orders, Change Orders / Amendments, Fore-Closures, Insurance policies, Bank Guarantees, etc.)
Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil
