Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
Sr. Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the role outlined below
- Tender Management – Study of the tender documents such as Conditions of Contract, Scope of Work, Specifications, Drawings, preparation of Pre-Qualification, Pre-bid queries, and attending client Pre-bid meetings.
- Preparation of BOQ and salient features of Bid (Technical + Commercial)
- Study of Drawings and quantification of the materials.
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities for design-build tenders from Drawings & Design.
- Detailed Estimation of the Projects by carrying out quantity off-takes from drawings and prepare BOQ.
- Preparing rate analysis with indirect cost calculations and logical risk factor pricing.
- Preparing RFQ by negotiating with contractors/vendors for price comparison as well as other tender commercial terms and conditions.
- Estimate/validate technical manpower required for the project under the bidding stage as per contract requirements.
- Provide cost breakups as and when required.
- Finalize and submit the tender along with the required documents and details.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 7-8 years in Estimation, Minimum 2-3 years with A-Grade Construction company.
- Must be able to submit the contract bid in terms of technical and financial proposals.
- Must have experience in Building tendering.
- Positive attitude, a self-starter able to take own initiatives, and execute work.
