About MSPGCL (MAHAGENCO)
Mahagenco has the highest overall generation capacity and the highest thermal installed capacity amongst all the state power generation utilities in India. In terms of installed capacity, it is the second-highest generation company after NTPC. It has a generation capacity of 13602 MW comprising 10170 MW thermal, 2580 MW hydel, 672 MW gas turbine, and 180 MWp solar; was established by the government of Maharashtra under the central electricity act-2003 with the principal objective of engaging in the business of generation of electricity, & mahagenco produces the cheapest power for consumers in the state.

MSPGCL Recruitment For Any Engineers
Educational Qualification:
Engineer:
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering from a recognized University. Minimum 05 years working Experience in Thermal Power Plant. Preference shall be given to a person having hands-on experience in coal-related operation and handling.
Chemist:
- B.Sc (Chemistry) / M.Sc (Chemistry)/ B.Tech (Chemistry). Minimum 05 years working Experience in Thermal Power Plant. Preference shall be given to a person having hands-on experience in coal sampling and analysis activity.
Age Limit:
- Engineer – 60 years
- Chemist – 60 years
Post-Wise Vacancies: Total – 60 Posts
- Engineer – 30 Posts
- Chemist – 30 Posts
Salary:
- Engineer – Rs.40,000/-
- Chemist – Rs.40,000/-
MAHAGENCO Recruitment Selection Process:
- The selection process will consist of a Personal Interview. The list of candidates called for Personal interview and selected for the posts advertised will be published on the Company’s website i.e. www.mahagenco.in from time to time.
Application Fees:
Candidates shall furnish Pay order / Demand Draft of the value of Rs. 800/- payable to the “MAHARASHTRA STATE POWER GENERATION COMPANY LIMITED” drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at “Mumbai”. The candidate should write his Full Name on the backside of the Demand Draft. Fees in the form of Postal Order/Money Order/Cash will not be accepted.
