Position – Design Engineer
Qualification: 4 yrs FULL-TIME 1st Class – BE / B. Tech with 2 Yrs full-time M.E/ M Tech from AICTE/UGC approved university.
Mandatory 1st class throughout academics (10th & 12th)
Candidates must be 60% First Class in academics.
Civil & Structural Design Engineering Professionals:
Experience: 4 to 12 Years
Qualification : BE & ME/M Tech Civil / Structural
Job Description:
- Experience in Civil & Structural design which includes
- Design of RCC Structures Pump Houses & Intake Structures, Elevated Water Tanks etc. for Water supply / Lift Irrigation projects which includes Raising Main Crossing Structures on Roads, Railways & Rivers/Streams, Valve Chambers, thrust blocks/anchor blocks and water retaining structures etc.
- Design of Steel Structures Pump houses, Roof Trusses, Gantry Girders, Pipe carrying galleries etc.,
- Hands-on experience in design software like STAAD Pro, E-Tabs and familiarity in developing the Design -Worksheets in MS- Excel
- Quantity take-off and preparation of Pre Bid Engineering BOQ & Specification
- Knowledge on Topographical Survey and contouring
- Interfacing, Design Co-ordination, Resource Management & Project Execution capability
- Added advantage if having experience in some of the following areas:
- Experience in Conceptualization, analysis, and Design of Precast RCC structures
- Steel Concrete Composite Design

Qualification: BE / B Tech Electrical Engineering (EEE/ECE/E&I)
Job Description:
- Experience in Electrical design that includes
- Preparation of Load Sizing, transformer sizing, cable Sizing generator sizing, Battery charger & Battery sizing, Earthing Calculation & Lightning Protection Calculation, conductor sizing calculation for Plant & Switchyard.
- Preparation of Single line diagram (SLD), lighting layout, lighting layout, Earthing layout, Cable routing layout for Plant & Switchyard.
- Preparation Switchyard layout & Electrical Switchgear room layout.
- The protection system of electrical equipment. (like Transformer, Motor, Busbars, DG) Calculation of earthing system (sizing of main earth strip, conductor), Lightning protection system as per IS/IEC/IEEE Std. Calculation of the lighting system.
- Preparation of Power cable, Control cable & Interconnection Schedule for Plant & Switchyard.
- Preparation of specifications, Data sheets, for various electrical equipment. Reviewing & commenting on vendor drawings & documents. Carrying out Technical Bid analysis, expedite with the vendor for all electrical equipment, carrying out inspections etc.
- Knowledge in Electrical Engineering Codes & standards (IS/ IEC/IEEE).
- Power system study Viz Short circuit study, Load Flow Study & Motor Starting Study using ETAP.
Mechanical & Piping Design Engineering Professionals :

Job Description:
- Experience in Mechanical design which includes
- Design of river water intake system.
- Hydraulic design of pumping/gravity pipeline system.
- Hydraulics of Distribution network design using software
- Hydraulic design of lift irrigation system / Sprinkler and Drip irrigation system.
- General Arrangement of Raw water / Clearwater pumping station
- Design of cross country pipelines.
- Piping Layouts and GA drawings for WTP, ETP, STP or any Industrial plant.
- Piping Layouts and GA drawings for Plant Water / Industrial Piping System package in Power Plants and Steel Plants.
- Knowledge in the evaluation of electromechanical items such as pumps, valves, EOT cranes, Sluice Gates, Trash Racks etc.
- In addition to the above experience, added advantage if having knowledge in the following areas
- Design of HVAC and Fire Fighting system.

- Experience in Instrumentation design which includes
- In-depth knowledge on Documentation and Designing of Instrumentation & control systems in Pumping stations and Water treatment process based projects.
- Possess excellent knowledge of PRODOK and AutoCAD software.
- Familiar with standard International specification and codes i.e IEC, ISA and ISO codes.
- Preparation of Operation Control philosophy, System Architecture, Instrument list, Drive Control Philosophy, Valve operation sequence chart, Instrument hook-up drawings, Interconnection cable schedule (ICS), Cable loop diagram, Cable schedule, Datasheets for Local Instruments, Transmitters, Analyzers, CCTV, EPABX Systems & Datasheets for PLC, UPS & Sizing of Flow Meters, Control Valves ,Batteries and selecting type of Instrument as per process requirement.
- Preparation of DCS/PLC engineering Inputs for software implementation like Input /Output Signal List, Drive list and Signal exchange list, Annunciation schedules.
- Preparation of Erection BOQ with detailed scope matrix to finalizing vendor for site execution.
- Purchase request (PR) creation for C&I items. Reviewing the detailed vendor documents for technical evaluation and providing technical clearance for P.O. creation.
- Reading tender specifications & understanding customer requirements for Preparation of Instrumentation BOQ, Technical deliverables and raising pre-bid queries.
- Inspection of I&C equipment/system including factory acceptance test (FAT) for PLC/DCS systems
- Coordinating and ensuring the technical requirement between the inter-departments (Civil, Mechanical, Process, Piping & Electrical) to meet the tender/operating job requirement.
- Design of Automation system as per the contract requirements and well-versed knowledge in PLCs of Schneider Electric, Honeywell, GE, Rockwell, and Mitsubishi Electric.
- Knowledge on IoT and Industrial protocol such as Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, Control net and Foundation field bus, OPC communication and other third-party Interfaces with DCS/PLC.
