Job description
HSE engineer required for a leading construction company in the oil & gas sector for their sites in India.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Degree/Diploma in any branch of Engg/ B.Sc (Regular) With recognized safety qualification (RLI / CLI / State technical board). Having studied construction safety as one of the subjects is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 05-08 years of post-qualification working experience in HSE department for construction projects, of which 2 years should be in the construction sector in Oil & gas projects.
Skillset required
Carry out HSE inspection of Work Area, Work Method, Men, Materials, P&M and other tools and tackles.
Carry out risk assessments and assisting site management in implementing the control measures at the site.
Knowledge and experience in working with OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of Work Permit Systems.
Well versed in incident investigation and reporting.
Trainer skills to create HSE awareness through Pep Talks.
