Job description
The objective of the role: To award contracts at the right time at the right quality at the right price to the right people to complete the project within the targeted time, budgeted cost, and best quality.

Location: Mumbai
Qualification Required: Civil Engineer/ Mechanical
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee various contract processes (floating of inquiries, preparation for comparatives, techno-commercial negotiations, etc.) and provide necessary approvals. Evaluate work orders & approve.
- Evaluate high value tenders and negotiate difficult & complex contracts.
- Conduct pre bid meetings with seniors in order to explain the scope of work to bidders for submission of appropriate documents for major work.
- Ensure preparation of tender documents and estimates.
- Finalize a contractor based on rate, Quality, Site Preference etc. Participate in techno-commercial negotiations with the VP Projects, Project Coordinator, concerned project execution, etc. Ensure the most appropriate contractual terms and conditions for sites are finalized.
- Monitor & correct draft agreements wherever required. Update the standards of contract documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all defined procedures for the processing of various bills received from the site contractors/vendors.
- Ensure adherence to defined processes for all contracts and quality-related operations at the site.
- Continuously conduct discussions to provide feedback to contractors on their performance and perform periodic techno-commercial audits (in coordination with the concerned department).
- Ensure necessary corrective action plans, if required, are put in place for smooth operations.
