Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Spearheading entire purchase / procurement-related operations with a view to achieving business objectives.
- Managing entire purchase-related operations with a view to achieving bottom-line profitability.
- Implementing key purchase/procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with operational requirements.
- Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving cost savings without hampering the process and preparing reports for the same.
- Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery, and quality norms.
Educational Qualifications: Must be B.Tech/B.E in CIVIL/MECHANICAL with at least 15+ years of experience in the infrastructure industry which is a mandate.
