About Gujarat Metro Rail

Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Metro rail project is being promoted with the objective of providing safe, fast, and eco-friendly transportation services to the public at affordable rates while simultaneously reducing the congestion on the roads. The metro rail project will promote integration with AMTS, BRTS, Railways, and other modes of the public transit system.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Manager (Rolling Stock):

  • Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive level.

Assistant Manager (Signalling):

  • Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive level.

Assistant Manager (L&E):

  • Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. The candidate should have minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive level.

Joint General Manager (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 16 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive level.

Deputy General Manager (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have minimum of 10 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 08 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level.

Manager (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have minimum 09 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 07 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level.

Assistant Manager (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or Candidate should have 05 years of experience.

Senior Section Engineer (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks. Candidates having a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent will be considered with additional 04 Years of Experience in the relevant field.

Section Engineer (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be B.E/ B. Tech/ Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks. Candidates having a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent will be considered with additional 04 Years of Experience in the relevant field.

  • Candidate must be Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks.

Junior Engineer (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks.

Maintainer (Civil/Track (O&M)):

  • Candidate must be qualified from a Govt. recognized ITI or equivalent Government Certification. The candidate should have 2 years of experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast fewer Tracks. Preference will be given to Officials from Railways/ Metro Corporation having sufficient experience in Civil Structure Maintenance.
