Job Description
- Monitoring all the quality control events for the works.
- Identification of borrow areas, selection of quarries and conducting tests for the suitability of various construction materials.
- Responsible for production and testing of various bituminous, nonbituminous and concrete mixes.
- Supervision of field works to assure implementation of correct quality procedures during progress and calibration and optimization of plants and machinery to meet quality and economy requirement with their suitability for consistency of the products.
- Coordination with key Professionals in quality matters and also responsible for maintaining required documentation as objective evidence of all quality control activities.
- Identification & Selection of Borrow Pits for use in Road Work i.e. Embankment sub-grade.
- Testing of aggregate for use in sub-base & base.
- Preparation of Job mix formula for GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, concrete mix design monitoring the same on Duty Basis.
- Testing & obtaining approval of outsourced material such as Bitumen, Cement, and Admixture etc.
- Inspection of Site, Conducting field checks & get certification done by consultant/client.
- Establishing field laboratory & preparation of test plans as per specifications.
- Preparation of Test Reports & Support RA Bills with Quantity Survey.
- Preparation of Monthly Progress Reports, Corporate Office Reporting & Internal Training.
- Product development, Economy & Value Engineering.
- Co-ordination with Clients & Consultants.
