General Tasks & Responsibilities
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
- Provision of cost control services during construction
- Assessment of Contractors Progress Claims
- Assessment of Variation and Delay Claims
- Procurement of Subcontractor and labour to carry out specialist trade works
- Negotiation and settlement of accounts.
- Monthly forecasting and cost reporting
- Monthly negotiation and agreement of payments for the works carried out
- Determination of final project cost
- Expert witness report to assist in settlement of disputes
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
